Frequently Asked Questions

How do I place an order?

Every balloon setup is custom-made. Click Request a Quote, tell us your event date, location, colors, and what styles you’re interested in. We’ll send you a custom estimate and confirm your booking once you approve.

Do you sell balloons online?

No — we don’t use an online checkout. Every event is unique, so all orders begin with a quote request.

• Jumbo Helium Balloons
• Backdrop Rentals with Balloon Decor
• Custom Balloon Installations for corporate, social, and private events

Where do you deliver?

We deliver across the Chicagoland suburbs from our base in Addison, IL. If you’re unsure whether we service your location, just ask in your quote request.

Do you offer pickup?

We provide delivery and professional setup for large-scale decor. Pickup may be available for smaller helium balloon orders — please ask when requesting your quote.

What is your minimum order?

• Helium balloons (pickup or local delivery): $100 before delivery fees
• Custom installations (with delivery & setup): $400 before delivery fees

How far in advance should I book?

• Large installs & rentals: 2–4 weeks in advance recommended
• Smaller helium balloon orders: 3–7 days notice is best, depending on availability

When will you arrive to set up my balloons?

We’ll schedule delivery and setup based on your event start time. Most installs are completed 1–3 hours before your event begins, depending on the size and complexity of the decor.

When do you remove the balloons?

For rentals (backdrops, stands, etc.), we return after your event to take everything down. If your decor doesn’t include rentals, teardown is not included — you can dispose of the balloons after the event.

Do you require a deposit?

Yes — a non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your date for orders over $400. The remaining balance is due 2 weeks prior to delivery and setup.

What is included in delivery?

• Professional installation at your venue or location
• All materials needed for setup
• Teardown and pickup for any rented items (backdrops, stands, etc.)

How much do you charge for delivery and installation?

  • Large custom installations – Delivery and professional installation is 20–30% of the order subtotal. The exact percentage depends on the size of your order, the complexity of the setup, and the delivery distance from our location.

  • Helium balloon delivery only – For helium balloon deliveries without an installation, we charge $4 per mile (one-way) from our Addison, IL location.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept credit cards, debit cards, and electronic payments. Payment links will be sent with your invoice.

How long will my balloons last?

Indoor balloons can last several days to weeks, depending on the environment. Outdoor balloons are subject to weather conditions and typically last for the duration of your event.

Do helium balloons float in the rain?

If helium balloons are outdoors during rain, they may temporarily sink or droop. This happens because rainwater adds weight to the balloons, which can overpower the helium lift. Once the rain stops and the balloons dry, they usually float again — but it’s something to keep in mind when planning outdoor events.

Are your balloons safe for children?

While balloons are fun and festive, they can pose a choking hazard for young children. Always supervise children around balloons and broken balloon pieces.

Can you match my event colors?

Yes — we offer a wide range of balloon colors and can often match your theme. You can provide photos or use our color chart when submitting your quote request.

What if the weather is bad?

For outdoor events, we recommend having a backup plan. Extreme heat, wind, or rain can affect balloon longevity and safety. We’ll work with you on adjustments if weather is a concern.
